Wolf on Wheels (Heritage Series Book 1)
His heartbeat ramped up, his tail twitched at the sight of the divine human B4 him #PNR #Romance @AmazonKindle
Review by TCOI: This story captures your attention and flows well. The chemistry between the main characters is good and you find yourself cheering on the romance. The sexual tension is there, as well as that hint of sweetness. It was an enjoyable read for sure, however I felt that the connection between the characters felt too pushed. Caleb’s attraction/pull to Lara needed just a little more time to sizzle. This is definitely a read worth snagging, and I’m looking forward to the next in the series. The Color of Ink received a copy in exchange for an honest review.
Wolf at the Door (Heritage Series Book 2)
When more than 1 family secret is dumped on Camille, she flys 2 the Bluegrass State 2 meet the Dad she thought dead
Review by TCOI: In Wolf at the Door we get to know Jonah, the beta of the pack you meet in book one. He’s in charge while Caleb and Lara are away. Keeping an eye on the hunter situation is enough to keep Jonah busy, but evidently fate has another plan. Along comes Camille, a woman who claims to be related to the alpha. Being around this female has him slowly dropping his walls, but Camilla is gone before he realizes it.
This is second read in the Heritage series, and as always I suggest reading in order. So if you want the place to start, check out Wolf on Wheels. Although it’s not necessary to enjoy this read, I still highly suggest it. This read leaves you wondering what will happen next, and I’m looking forward to the next read. I voluntarily reviewed a reader copy of this book.
About the Author:
Layne Macadam lives with her husband, two dogs and a cantankerous cat named Bob, on the beautiful east coast of Australia. She holds down a full-time job and has a degree in history.
Always an avid reader with a vivid imagination, writing romance seemed a natural progression for her. After her first novel Desire Unleashed, a romantic suspense, was published in 2013 she decided to branch out and write in a variety of genres.
Her love of history has fueled her other passion, which is travel. Layne has been fortunate enough to have explored lots of this wonderful world we live in, and of course her travels have been a tremendous help when creating a backdrop for her stories. Her works include Desire Unleashed, Desire Denied, Obsession Down Under, Star Crossed Lovers, and Wolf on Wheels, Book 1 in her Heritage Shifter Series.
