Well, I neglected my Bromeliad and thought it was a goner. I was about to pitch it but I am all about second chances… fighting your way back up again… Etc… So I decided to hack away at the crunchiness that used to be a plant. And look what I found. Despite all the odds against it… cold window, lack of water, and a few cobwebs I believe he will make it. Yep I said he. He will now be affectionately regarded as Bro. We got this. (If anyone asks it was the housekeepers job to water Bro. And I really should fire her ass. She never shows up for work!)
When the house is quiet and you sit down with a cup of coffee and ready yourself to write, what do you do? Well, I take pictures and post away evidently. Thought I would share one of my recent posts off of the So Help Me Facebook page complete with visual. Enjoy.
I think he finally got tired of me watching him. After he tunneled under the snow here and there finding nothing knowing I was watching, he stopped to stare me down. Funny thing… All I could hear was, “Where are my nuts woman!?!”
Me: (Looking around and then back at the squirrel.) “Were we married?”
Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.
The New Year brings something different to each and every one of us. This year for me the New Year brings 365 blank pages. And I intend filling this book with something good.
Happy New Year Everyone.
